The Heron -Prestige Totes Bags Damier Ebene Shoulder Bag

This new Heron shoulder bag is perfect for everyday use as it will hold ALL THE THINGS!

I started with an Louis Vuitton Chelsea bag, added some braiding along the top, replaced the straps, and voila!  A beautiful and functional bag was born! This bag is W16 x H11 x D6".  

The bag's outer Damier Ebene canvas is in excellent shape!  The inside red liner is also extremely clean, with only one noticeable mark.  There is one zippered pocket inside, and a very roomy interior.  This bag normally has snaps that hold down the ends of the zipper, but they were non-functional, so I replaced them with brass screws.  

The top has been hand braided with brown leather, and it looks stunning.  The bag has a double zipper, so it can be zipped from either side or with the two meeting in the middle!! The straps have been replaced with 6-strand braided leather, and are still adjustable. The largest drop is 12".  The straps are knotted and have a small amount of fringe that hangs down to the bottom of the bag ... not too much, but enough to give this bag a unique look.
